"Over the arch is seen a square-headed and transformed two-light window, belonging to the muniment room; and above this a single vacant niche, which is said to have contained a statue of the Virgin...The Refectory adjoins the tower on the west side." Further east a covered way or ambulatory communicates directly with the north transept of the Church.
