Entrance to the rock-tomb from Beni Hassan in the Egyptian Court at the reconstructed Crystal Palace exhibition hall in Sydenham Hill. During the Middle Kingdom (ca.2200-2000 BC), 39 tombs for local feudal lords were hewn into the lime-stone cliffs above the little village of Beni-Hassan, Egypt.
