Guy's Cliffe House, on the River Avon, taken from the field adjoining the picturesque old water-mill to the north-west of the mansion. It is named after Guy of Warwick, the legendary Saxon noble and Earl of Warwick. In the 15th century the house went into the hands of the Greatheed family, who were connected to the House of Ernsby.
