“Home from the Broads (Yarmouth). – Here, with the fine Town Hall in sight, we bring our cruise to a conclusion.
It is to be hoped that the perusal of these notes and the sight of the pretty views may be approved of by the reader, and that those who have not yet visited the Broads will not neglect to do so, as with fair weather they cannot possibly fail to enjoy themselves. Freshwater yachting has no terror in the form of ‘mal-de-mer,’ which is so dreaded by the tyro who ventures on the sea for the first time.
If anyone is in want of a thorough change, a bright bracing atmosphere, an economical holiday with plenty of items of interest in it, a holiday free from fatigue and house-hunting, let him ‘Try the Broads’.”
Letterpress description by Ernest R. Suffling accompanying Plate C from ‘Sun Pictures of the Norfolk Broads’.
