Pangbourne Bridge

Photographer: Sedgfield, William Russell

"Above Hardwick are the sister villages of Pangbourne, Berks, and Whitchurch, Oxon, united by a long and narrow, yet pleasing wooden bridge. Both villages are greatly in favour with artists and anglers; with the latter forasmuch as the Pang, which here falls into the Thames, is a trout stream of high reputation."
