This month we have the pleasure of presenting to our readers an excellent portrait of Mr. A. R. Dresser, of Springfield, Bexley, President of the Brixton and Clapham Camera Club, reproduced from a negative by the London Stereoscopic Co....Mr. Dresser is a gentleman with time and money to devote to any hobby that he may take up, and his 'elegant leisure' is principally employed in advancing photography. He is a member of the committee of the Camera Club, Vice-President of the West Kent Amateur Photographic Society, and, as we have already noted, President of the Brixton and Clapham Camera Club. All who know him will, with us, wish him a long life to continue his pleasant labours for the advancement of photography.

Text by Charles W Hastings, editor of 'The Photographic Societies' Reporter,' 'Amateur Photographer,' 'Photographic Quarterly,' etc.
