Medium: Photographic print
The round tower or Cloictheach is situated north-east of the Rock of Cashel, a fourth-century fortified limestone height in the Golden Vale, Tipperary. Cashel was the capital of the ancient kingdom of Munster and residence of the kings. This view shows the perfect preservation of the round tower and the north transept of the cathedral.
