The Quay And Town Hall
Medium: Photographic print
Great Yarmouth's "quay is over a mile in length, and in some parts 150 feet broad. It is capable of harbouring several hundred vessels and is acknowledged to be without a rival in Great Britain...The town hall was erected in 1715 at a cost of £880, and cannot be called an imposing looking building...The town council have recently decided on the erection of a building of dimensions more in accordance with the size and necessities of their borough than the present modest structure."
