"The Upper and Lower Cloister are connected by a magnificent and characteristic staircase. This Cloister is portioned off as follows: North side as Members' Corridor to the Commons' Lobby; South side as Private Bill Office; East side as Members' News Room; West side as a Sale Room for Printed Papers. The present view is that of the Members' Entrance or Corridor."
