“Wherries leaving Yarmouth. – By the set of the ‘vang,’ as the half-flag, half-vane arrangement at the mast head is called, they have a fair wind and should make a quick passage home if they can avoid the temptation of a ‘taste’ at pretty Horning Ferry Inn. Let us hope they are not so innclined.”
