“Yachts at Wroxham Bridge. – Early morning is a time dedicated to the male members of the yachting parties, and until 8 a.m. a swim may be enjoyed in the rivers or Broads before the advent of the ladies to breakfast, which, on a well regulated yacht, should take place at that hour. ‘Early to bed and early to rise’ is a wise motto when cruising, as the early morning in summer is usually the finest part of the day.”
Letterpress description by Ernest R. Suffling accompanying Plate VII from ‘Sun Pictures of the Norfolk Broads’.
