Known popularly as 'The Horns', this music hall in Kennington was a very popular venue. Charlie Chaplin's father is known to have been a regular visitor, and would sometimes take his son along to encourage him into variety entertainment. In particular, the Horns was known for its bawdy and risqué bills, and survived as a viable entertainment venue until it was destroyed by a bomb in during World War II.
