This is the reverse of the leaflet.

No topic occupied the Victorian mind more than health and many unscrupulous entrepreneurs took advantage of this. There were many tonics and pills that claimed to have medicinal properties and many relied on these remedies because they could not afford to visit the doctor. As can be seen from this leaflet, as well as these treatments there was also a plethora of chest expanders, abdominal supports and other devices that claimed to be beneficial to ones health. Some of these devices were genuinely designed to support the body but many would have been of no help at all.
