Advert For Harry Green's Dining Rooms
Printer: Trill & Sons
Medium: Print on paper
In general the coffee and dinning rooms were the cheap eateries in cities and they were so numerous that there were 2 or 3 in every street. When they were first opened in London they were places where gentlemen gathered to discuss politics but slowly as they only served non alcoholic beverages they became more like cafes. Décor was usually quite plain with lots of small tables and newspapers and periodicals were provided for patrons to read whilst eating their meals.
