Printer: Unknown
Medium: Print on paper
Date: 1884

This leaflet is advertising Negretti and Zambra’s temperature and light recording instruments. Henry Negretti (1817 – 1879) was an Italian optician who came to London to work in 1829. In 1850 he entered into partnership with Joseph Warren Zambra and they sold a variety of scientific instruments. They had offices across London but are perhaps best remembered for their presence in Stepney. Today the Negretti Award is presented to reward scientific and technical expertise and is funded by Negretti’s descendants.
