One of the artists advertised here is Minnie Cunningham, a music-hall dancer who allegedly inspired the early symbolist poet Arthur Symons to write 'The Primrose Dance: Tivoli'. She appears to have been quite a popular muse and study for the artists of her day: she also modelled for the artist Walter Sickert, who devoted a painting, 'Minnie Cunningham at the Old Bedford', to her.
