Guru Gobind Singh
This manuscript, produced around 1800, contains selections from the 'Asa di War', a composition from the Guru Granth Sahib, written in Punjabi and recited by members of the Sikh community at the pre-dawn hour. It is very small in size, measuring just 14.5 x 10 cm, and was purchased by the British Museum Library on 24th January 1929.
