This is a single leaf, apparently cut from a Missal belonging to the church at Pirton, Worcestershire. The back of the leaf has been used for making a copy of a charter, by which William le Poer, Lord of Pirton, grants grazing rights to Philip, rector of the church of St. Mary and St. John the Baptist, Pirton, and all his successors. Presumably Philip wanted to keep a duplicate of the original charter somewhere safe, and therefore copied it onto the blank page in the church's Missal.
