During the life of Osmund, bishop of Sarum (died 1099), each diocese and many churches had their own liturgical peculiarities. Osmund drew up a new ordinal to regulate the Divine Office, Mass, and Calendar, which became a standard throughout most of the British Isles. This page contains the start of a list of church personnel (deacons, archdeacons, etc.) and their duties. Osmund himself is named in line 9.
