The script, and the unusual style of decoration, are so similar to that in a book from Bath Cathedral, that it is likely that this book also come from Bath. The colouring and style of the decorated initial 'L' are unusual: the initial is drawn in blue, with vine-stem ornament reminiscent of that found in 12th-century Italian manuscripts, on a red ground. Capitals in the text are highlighted with a stroke of orange-red.
