At the top of this flyleaf is an inscription stating that the manuscript was bought by William Reed, bishop of Chichester (1369-1385), from Thomas Trilleck, bishop of Rochester. Lower down is a longer inscription stating that Reed gave it to the collegiate church of the Holy Trinity, Arundel (Sussex), founded by Richard Fitzalan, 5th Earl of Arundell. At the end of the volume is an added text of the Statues of the Church of Hereford: it is therefore possible that Thomas Trilleck was related to John de Trilleck, bishop of Hereford (1344-1360).
