This calendar has several columns of computistical material to each side of the column of feast days. The feast of St. Osyth (7 October) is marked as a major feast, and has an octave (14 October). On 11 October is the translation of St. Augustine. These features make it likely that this manuscript was written for the Augustinian abbey of St. Peter, St. Paul, and St. Osyth, at St. Osyth, Essex. These three saints are also emphasised above all other in the litany.
