View of a watermill near Keswick in Cumbria. Keswick is a market town situated at the base of the Skiddaw Mountain nearby the junction of the rivers Derwent and Greta. The watermill in this print is relatively small, situated on the bank of a river and has a wooden bridge which provides access for the workers. It was probably built in the 17th century and would have been used to grind grain for bread.
