View of an Ocak Tree in Moccas Park in Herefordshire. The park dates from the 17th century and contains some of the most ancient oak trees in England. The Reverand Kilvert said of them in his diary of 1870-79,
"I fear those grey old men of Moccas Park, those grey, gnarled, low-browed, knock-kneed, bowed, bent, huge, strange, long-armed, deformed, hunched-backed, misshapen oak men that stand waiting and watching century after century."
