View of the cottage belonging to the Archdeacon of Caernarfon, the Reverand Mr. Roberts. Caernarvon is located in Northern Wales at the southern end of the Menai Strait at the mouth of the River Seiont, and at the foot of the Snowdonia mountain range. It’s strategic position has been recognised since the Romans occupied the area and a magnificent castle was built here by Edward I in the 13th century.
