This is one of five prints taken from brass plates in different churches in Oxford. This 16th century inscription reads: "Here lyeth under this stone buryed Margaret Bu[sta]rd wydowe ----- and wyf of Wyllm Pope of [D]edington in the county of Oxford Gent and afterward maried to John Bustard Gent dwellinge in A[dder]bury in the said county which Willm and Margaret were father and mother to Sir Thomas Pope knight and John Pope Esquyre and the said Margaret depted out of this worlde the ----day of anno domini 1557 and hopeth to ryse and lyve agayne with Chryste eternally."
