Brass rubbing from the ante-chapel of Magdalen College

Medium: Ink on paper

Date: 1780

Shelfmark: Ktop XXXV

Item number: 5-n

Genre: Topographical Drawing

Magdalen Chapel was built between 1474 and 1480, and was built on a T-plan similar to that of the New College and Merton chapels. In the ante-chapel there are a number of brasses from the 15th or 16th centuries, some of which are unnamed. This is mostly likely to be cleric and member of the college.
