The Church of St Mary and St Blaise was originally one of the buildings of the 12th century priory at Boxgrove. This Sussex church is an important church in the Early English style, with a particularly impressive chancel. During the course of the dissolution of the priory, five bays of the nave were demolished, leaving the chancel, crossing and transepts.
