Parts of this church date from the middle ages. The pyramid-roofed west tower is Norman and the nave has two 14th-century windows. It has been suggested that the church was rebuilt in the 18th century using old materials. However art historian Nikolaus Pevsner concluded that it was actually drastically restored, not completely rebuilt.
