A hand drawn map of the Saint Lawrence River with two smaller views of the town of Quebec. The Right hand view includes individual buildings and an explanatory key. The left hand view shows Quebec's position on a hill overlooking the meeting of three Rivers. The town was founded by French settlers in 1634, originally called 'Trois Rivieres'. In 1763, it was ceded to British control by the Treaty of Paris.
