View from a distance accross the meadows towards Jesus College, Cambridge. Jesus was founded in 1497 by Bishop of Alcock of Ely. The Benedictine Nunnery of St Radegund had fallen into disrepair so the Bishop took the decision to reuse the buildings and revenues for a new college. This print shows the Hall range with end of the library on the left and to the right the protruding Chapel tower lying behind the Hall range.
