View of the launching of HMS Hibernia at Plymouth Dockyard on 17th November 1804. A note accompanying the print describes 'Hibernia of 120 Guns, Circe & Pallas Frigates, of 32 Guns each & the Undocking the St George of 98 Guns having undergone a compleat repair....Shewing the Effects produced by His Lordship's mode of working the shipwrights, under the direction of Josh Tucker Esqr Master Shipwrights and the Officers and Artificers of His Majesty's Yard at Plymouth'. The Hibernia went on to become the flagship of the Mediterranean Fleet for many years.
