View of a narrow bridge at Llantrisant over the River Taff. Llantrisant is a market town in the North of the Vale of Glamorgan. Situated on a hill overlooking the lowlands it is famed for its beautiful scenery. Historically Llantrisant marked the border netween the Englishry to the north and the Welshry to the south. The River Taff rises in the Brecon Beacons and flows some forty miles through Merthyr Tydfil, Abercynon, Pontypridd and Cardiff before discharging into the Severn Estuary.
