This Norman chapel predates the building of the new Cathedral in Salisbury Water Meadows. It is of a very simple design with a nave and small chancel. It had a south chapel added in the 14th century and was partially extended in the late 18th century, but otherwise it has retained its original form. It is now known as the Church of St George, and lies in the parish of Harnham, near Salisbury in Wiltshire.
