View of Crickhowell in Brecknockshire, Wales. The town is situated on the bank of the River Usk, and is surrounded by the Black mountains and the Brecon Beacons. Crickhowell developed as a market town in the Usk Valley- a fertile area with dramatic landscapes. The town derives its name from a fortress, Crfig Hywel, commonly called Table Mountain, which is about 2 miles away.
