Brass rubbing from the ante-chapel of Magdalen College, Oxford

Medium: Ink on paper

Date: 1780

Shelfmark: Ktop XXXV

Item number: 5-o

Magdalen chapel was built between 1474 and 1480, based on a T-plan similar to that of New College and Merton chapels. In the ante-chapel there are a number of brasses dating from the 15th or early-16th centuries, some of which are unnamed. This is most likely a cleric and member of the college.
