A watercolour of a house called Royle Hall which was situated in Habergham Eaves near Burnley in Lancashire. It is allegedly the seat of Sir H. Houghton. A 1598 Probate inventory names the owner of Royle Hall as Edmund Townley Esq. The Townleys were a landowning family who had several properties in the Burnley area. Royle Hall is no longer standing today.
