View of St Peter’s Church in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire. St Peters was built in the early 13th century however many alterations have been made and five different architectural styles can be identified some of which are Early English, Decorated and Perpendicular. The large crossing tower dominates the church which is one of the largest in Hertfordshire. During the 19th century the church was restored by Wyatville and Butterfield and more work was carried out I the 20th century by Robert Neil.
