This drawing is dedicated to Dunstan, the archbishop of Canterbury from AD959 to 88. It holds the family tomb of the Roper family, and also the remains of their relation Sir Thomas More, the author of 'Utopia' and sometime Lord Chancellor of England, who was beheaded by Henry VIII in 1535.
