View at Trumpington, a village situated on the London and Cambridge road on the east bank of the Cam, two miles south of Cambridge. The artist is Charles Tomkins (1757-1823) who worked as an engraver, topographical and antiquarian draughtsman and exhibited at the Royal Academy between 1773 - 1779.
