View of the medieval parish church of Tottenham, in modern north-east London. The church tower was built in 14th century, constructed in four stages and supported by diagonal buttresses. An 1868 Gazetteer notes that the church is an ancient Gothic structure, that it stands on a slight eminence about a quarter of a mile to the west from the high road, and consists of a nave, chancel, and two aisles, with a vestry at the east end and a priests' room over the south porch.
