View of the early-Tudor gatehouse of a mansion owned by the Sackville family. It is embattled has a stair turret attached to it. The foundations of the house lie behind the gatehouse. The ground plan below this view is of a house with courtyard, drawn by architect John Thorpe; this was never actually built.
