View of a Chagford Bridge over the River Teign in Devon. Chagford is a medieval town on the edge of Dartmoor, which in 1328 was made a stannary town. This meant that it had a stannary court to regulate the tin mining operations for Dartmoor. Its bridge was built in c.1600 and is three arches of granite ashlar.
