View of the small village of Great Washbourne in Gloucestershire. The parish was near Tewkesbury, and until its dissolution had been the property of Tewkesbury Abbey. By the late 18th century, the manor was owned by the Craven family. The village was clustered around one street west of the church, and was purely agricultural in occupation. The stone buildings shown in this view could be part of the old manor house.
