Engraver: Ellis, William
View of Dr Glasse's residence at Greenford in Middlesex. During the 18th century Greenford was a secluded farming community, mostly unchanged until the building of railways in the early 1900s. Rev. Dr Samuel Glasse was a clergyman involved in Poor Law reform. The image here shows an archery party in the house garden.
