View of Croydon Head in Waterford Harbour
Medium: Ink wash on paper
View of Croydon or Creaden head, a promontory at the mouth of the River Suir, in County Waterford, on the south east coat of Ireland. This view is typical of the coastline of Waterford, with rugged cliffs and large bays. The artist, who is unknown to us, has marked ‘Morash and Bogg’ on the land behind the bay.
