This view shows All Saints' church, the parish church of the small Nottinghamshire village of Barnby-in-the-Willows. It is a plain structure with some interesting tracery on the chancel windows, incorporating unusual combinations of shapes. The nave and two aisles were built in the 13th century, and the west tower and porch are from the 15th century. As can be seen in the picture, the porch and tower are decorated with pinnacles and gargoyles. The vicarage of this parish was under the patronage of a "mother" church, Southwell Collegiate church.
