This view, taken from Mr Foreman's garden wall, looks towards the ferry-house and up the hill towards Clifton. Mr Foreman was a gentleman probably associated with Grimm's patron, the Rev. Bart. He may have offered accommodation to the artist as he made his sketches of the local area.
