Inscriptions from the cloisters of Oronsay Priory drawn by John Cleveley, junior, in 1774 from a sketch by John Frederick Miller taken on August 8th 1772. Oronsay is a small Hebridian island near Colonsay in Scotland. It has a ruined medieval priory which has an important collection of monumental carvings from the Iona School (14th -15th century) and Oronsay School (c.1500-1560).
