A view in ink of the junction of the rivers Isis and Pactolus in Christ Church Meadows in Oxford, drawn by S.H. Grimm. The River Isis rises in the Cotswold Hills at Thames Head. At Oxford it is joined by the River Thame, and it becomes the River Thames proper. It then heads eastward to London.
